From process improvement to AI systems
In 2019, I was leading digital transformation for a global manufacturer across 14 locations worldwide. I had been named to Knoxville’s 40 Under 40 and expected 2020 to be my best year yet. Then COVID hit. Volumes collapsed, and that summer I lost my job.
I filed the paperwork in August and started Omega on September 1, 2020. The first revenue was $200 for an old computer I rebuilt with Linux. The entrepreneur who bought it was still using it years later.
The next few years were lean. The team grew to five, then shrank back to just me. There were false starts and hard lessons about where to focus. I kept working, narrowed the business, and built from what customers needed.
The turning point came late one night in 2024. Fed up with logging in and out of every platform just to pull my own data, a thought hit me: if Google can index the entire internet, why can’t I index the data that’s mine? A few months down that rabbit hole, I had the first version of CoreIQ.
Today, CoreIQ is in the market and Sightline is our second product. We’ve assembled the most capable team Omega has ever had, and the business results reflect it. We bring together the skills successful AI deployments require: industrial and software engineering, process improvement, digital transformation, and accounting. We’re excited about the future, and we hope to build it with you.

Products shaped by client needs
CoreIQ grew out of knowledge management needs in PEO operations. Sightline grew out of engineering teams needing to see what their coding agents changed and why. Both products address needs we encountered through our work.
Talent developed through real work
We began training people to build the capabilities our projects required. Today, our engineers evaluate candidates through work performed under our direction. The people we place with clients receive eight weeks of engineering support as they join their teams.
