Staffing

Technical Talent. Evaluated by Engineers.

Contract, project, or direct-hire placement of AI-capable professionals, evaluated by people who build these systems.

Fit

Is this the right fit?

Who this is for

You need people to build an internal team or add capacity for a project. We help you find professionals whose technical ability has been evaluated through real work, with contract, project, and direct-hire options.

Who this is not for

Reality check

Every resume says AI now

AI experience on a resume can mean many things. We evaluate what candidates can build, how they solve problems, and the judgment they bring to real work.

Implementation

We observe how candidates turn requirements into working systems and make choices about data, tools, and integrations.

Technical judgment

We see how candidates approach unfamiliar problems, troubleshoot their work, and recognize when they need another perspective.

Collaboration

Working under our direction lets us observe how candidates communicate, respond to feedback, and follow through on the work.

The difference

The evaluation happens before you meet them

Real work first

Everyone we place has worked under our direction. The engineers who deliver our client systems evaluate candidates through that work, observing their implementation, problem-solving, and technical judgment.

Eight weeks of engineering backup

For the first eight weeks, an Omega engineer is available to the person we placed, for questions and a second set of eyes on their work. That gives them experienced technical support as they settle into your team.

One standard

Our talent pool is held to the same standard as our internal employees. We will only staff people that we would hire in similar roles.

Process

How a placement runs

  1. 01

    Understand the work

Tell us what needs to be built or run, which systems you use, and how the person will fit into your team.

  2. 02

    Define the role

We help clarify the skills, experience, and level of responsibility the work requires, then discuss availability and rates.

  3. 03

Match the person to the work

Our engineers match demonstrated ability to your technical requirements. You meet candidates with a clear explanation of why we believe they fit.

  4. 04

    Contract, project, or direct hire

Choose the arrangement that fits your needs. We agree on terms before the placement begins, including any planned transition from contract to direct hire.

FAQ

Questions we get

How do you evaluate candidates?

They work with us first. Everyone we place has spent time under our direction on real work, which tells us things an interview cannot: how they handle an unfamiliar system, what they do when they are stuck, whether they ask early or guess late.

Where do your people come from?

Some come through a training program we designed, aimed at people moving into this work from adjacent technical and operational backgrounds. Others are experienced professionals. We evaluate both the same way.

What if the placement does not work out?

Tell us early so we can understand the issue. During the first eight weeks, our engineering support can help with technical questions. We discuss next steps with you, and the placement agreement defines any replacement terms.

Can they work on site?

Depends on what you need. Tell us the requirement and we will tell you whether we can meet it for the role you are filling.

How is this different from Consulting?

In Consulting, we embed engineers as part of an engagement, and they bring our architectural judgment with them into work we are directing. In Staffing, we place a person who works for you, on your direction. Same quality of person, different relationship.

Do you vouch for these people?

Yes. We have observed their technical work, communication, response to feedback, and follow-through under our direction. We explain what we have seen and why we believe they fit the role. You make the final hiring decision and assess the fit with your team.

Our evaluation goes beyond resume screening and interviews. The engineers assessing candidates also build and operate client systems. They understand the work firsthand and have seen each candidate perform it. The first eight weeks of engineering support continue that relationship after placement.
